Pre and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Non-Surgical Injury Rehabilitation
There are many injuries that do not require surgery and can be treated with physical therapy. These include: tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, shoulder impingement, lower back pain, hip impingement, hip bursitis, patellofemoral pain syndrome, and cervical radiculopathy. When you come to Mandler Physical Therapy for your initial evaluation, you will be given a complete working diagnosis and we will identify the faulty biomechanics surrounding the issue. The treatment plan created will incorporate strategies and techniques to correct the biomechanical faults. Here is a list of traditional injuries that we treat:

- Back and Neck Pain
-
Sciatica
-
Rotator Cuff Injuries
-
Knee Pain
-
Foot and Ankle Pain
-
Hip Pain
-
Arthritis
-
Tennis/Golfers Elbow
-
Posture Dysfunction
We treat all orthopedic surgeries: total joint replacement, knee ligament reconstructions, shoulder rotator cuff repair, meniscus repair, shoulder/hip labrum repairs, AC joint reconstruction, elbow reconstructions, foot and ankle reconstruction. We work closely with your surgeon to ensure the best possible outcomes and full return to function. Treatment often begins before the scheduled operation in order to pre-habilitate the injury. This ensures maximum range of motion and strength going into surgery in order to maximize the post-surgical outcomes.
Sports Rehabilitation
At Mandler Physical Therapy we work with athletes of all ages and levels. Whether you are a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, our goal is to get you back to sport in the most effective and safest way possible. By using innovative evidence-based practice and sport-specific therapeutic exercise, we are able to bring you back to peak performance, while also preventing future injury or recurrence.
General Balance, Gait, and Strength
General balance and strength are cornerstones in ensuring a safe aging process in the geriatric population. At Mandler PT we strive to provide excellent one on one care to the older adult population addressing each unique need that the patient presents. By using the state of the art Alter-G Treadmill, which decreases the strain on joints and muscles by reducing body weight, we are able to create a safe and effective environment for cardiovascular conditioning while correcting overall gait pattern for this patient population.
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
At Mandler Physical Therapy we specialize in orthopedic physical therapy, which focuses on conditions affecting joints, muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons. These may manifest as stiffness, inflammation, general pain, weakness, or tissue damage. At Mandler Physical Therapy we work to reduce pain and swelling (immediate symptoms) while also restoring joint mobility and identifying any weakness or muscular imbalance found. We use traditional techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and heat/cold therapy to help treat and correct these issues. We also address overall movement patterns to correct any imbalances that may be present in order to decrease the chance of the injury reoccurring.
