Dr. Eli Mandler, PT, DPT, CERT. DN

Dr. Mandler received his B.S. in Exercise Science from George Washington University. He went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, a top-10, nationally ranked, physical therapy program. Dr. Mandler’s work experience includes inpatient hospital care as well as outpatient clinical therapy where he worked with a variety of patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, spinal and cardiovascular. He has worked with athletes from the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Dr. Mandler has been featured in the Journal of Sports Physical Therapy and has presented his research at the National Physical Therapy Conference. He holds a certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).

Dr. Mandler, a Miami native, has always had an inspiration to pursue a career in physical therapy. Growing up playing Lacrosse at both the high school and collegiate level, Dr. Mandler has had his fair share of injuries. He knows what it takes to recover from an injury, and how to prevent them from occurring. Having recovered from a serious shoulder injury that required surgery, Dr. Mandler grew to appreciate both the importance and impact a good physical therapist could have on the rehab process. From that point forward, Dr. Mandler knew that he wanted to have that same impact on others. This is why he formed Mandler PT.

Dr. Cintya Aguilera, PT, DPT

Dr. Cintya Aguilera is a physical therapist with extensive experience in orthopedic, neurological and sports rehabilitation. Dr. Aguilera received her B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from Florida International University in 2010 with a dual specialization in Strength & Conditioning and Exercise Physiology. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. 

 

Her journey into the field began with a profound love for soccer and a growing interest in the human body and its response to exercise and nutrition. This passion drove her to play soccer at the collegiate level and to delve deeper into the field of health and fitness by working as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and health fitness specialist before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.   Dr. Aguilera’s proficiency as a PT is bolstered by her personal journey as a collegiate athlete and her work experience in the fields of health, fitness and recovery. Her professional evolution continued as a Physical Therapist with esteemed institutions like the University of Miami, Memorial Hospital West, and Sutter Health in California. 

 

Today, Dr. Aguilera continues to be passionate about health, fitness, nutrition and the human body as a whole. She is a firm believer in tackling common injuries and health conditions before they happen.  She has been quoted saying, “Exercise is medicine and when dosed correctly, using a whole mind, body and spirit approach, the benefits are limitless.”
